This product is a dry powder TB broth medium. The product specification is 250g per bottle. TB medium is the recommended medium for protein expression in E. coli and is capable of increasing protein yield. It is suitable for various expression methods, such as IPTG induction, arabinose induction, and maltose induction. TB medium is also used to resuscitate and preservation of lyophilized bacterial strains. 

Instructions for use:

1.Weigh 50.9g of this product

2.Dissolve it by heating in 1000 mL of distilled water

3.Add 4 mL of glycerol.

4.Dispense it into aliquots

5.Sterilize by autoclaving at 121℃ for 15 minutes before use.

Principles of testing: The formulation of TB medium contains higher concentrations of tryptone, yeast extract, and glycerol (as carbon source).
